 Jimmy Donaldson, born May 7, 1998, best known as his name, MrBeast. MrBeast is an American YouTube personality, entrepreneur and philanthropist. Six years ago, he was recognized as the creator of a type of YouTube videos that focus on expensive stunts. His main YouTube channel, "MrBeast", is the fifth-most-subscribed on the platform. Donaldson started uploading videos to YouTube in the early months of 2012 at 13 years old under the name "MrBeast6000" and his initial content ranged from Let's Plays to "videos which estimated the riches of other YouTubers." The channel went viral in the year 2017 following his "counting to 100,000" video racked up tens of thousands of views in a matter of days, and he has grown in popularity since then, with many of his videos earning hundreds of millions of views.Over time the style of his content has changed to include challenge and donation videos that award thousands of dollars, videos involving arduous tasks or challenges to survive, and original vlogs. Donaldson has had a number of his childhood buddies assist him in managing his growing YouTube channel. The MrBeast channel had 60 subscribers in 2022. It reached 100 million subscribers on July 28th, 2022.
