 Drew Blythe Barrymore, born February 22, 1975, is an American actress. She has been awarded numerous prizes, including a Screen Actors Guild Award Award as well as the Golden Globe. There have also been five Emmy Award nominations as well as an BAFTA nomination, and five Emmy Award nominations. She is part of the Barrymore family, and is the great-granddaughter of John Barrymore. Barrymore was famous as a child actress with her performance in E.T. the Extra-Terrestrial. After a turbulent early life that was rife with alcohol and drug abuse, she published Little Girl Lost, an autobiography. In the 1990s she was in a variety of films like Poison, Boys on the Side and Mad Love. Barrymore appeared alongside Adam Sandler on a few films, including The Wedding Singer, 50 First Dates and Blended. Barrymore was a child actor who became famous for her role in E.T. The Extra-Terrestrial. The Extra-Terrestrial was the result of a highly publicized early childhood marked by drug and alcohol abuse, she released an autobiography Little Girl Lost. She was in numerous successful films in the 1990s, including PoisonIvy, Boys on the Side and Mad Love.
