Drew Blythe Barrymore, born February 22, 1975, is an American actress. She has been awarded numerous prizes, including a Screen Actors Guild Award Award as well as the Golden Globe. There have also been five Emmy Award nominations as well as an BAFTA nomination, and five Emmy Award nominations. She is part of the Barrymore family, and is the great-granddaughter of John Barrymore. Barrymore was famous as a child actress with her performance in E.T. the Extra-Terrestrial. After a turbulent early life that was rife with alcohol and drug abuse, she published Little Girl Lost, an autobiography. In the 1990s she was in a variety of films like Poison, Boys on the Side and Mad Love.
